Summer's bounty is overflowing! Over 10 varieties of sweet & hot peppers, luscious homegrown tomatoes, fresh apples, and other produce of summer are ready: green beans, eggplant, cantaloupe, sweet corn, and more!
Peaches - August is peach month so don't miss out. We grow a dozen varieties of Yellow and White Freestone Peaches. There is nothing better than juicy, sweet, homegrown peaches for slicing, pies, cobblers, jam, or canned for the winter. White peaches are lower in acid with a more delicate flavor. If you are looking for robust flavor, be sure to try the yellow fleshed peaches.
Apples - The apple varieties we grow in order of ripening are:
Lodi, Ginger Gold, Paula Red, Gala, McIntosh, Cortland, Jonathon, Honeycrisp, Swiss Gourmet, Senshu, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Melrose, Empire, Candy Crisp, Jonagold, Ida Red, Stayman-Winesap, Fuji, Braeburn, & Gold Rush. Call ahead to inquire about your favorite apple. Remember that Honeycrisp season is short so get your fill early!
